Electrocardiogram or EKG is a diagnostic test that identifies problems or disturbances of the electrical activity of the heart.  

There are many exciting opportunities for EKG technicians and the future holds great promise of expanded roles in this field of training.   The Tender Care Training Center EKG technician course will prepare you to successfully pass the MEDCA certification Exam.

Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18 years 
  • Must have a picture identification i.e. state issued ID/drivers license or military identification card. 
  • Must show proof of high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). 
  • Must have a valid Social Security Card. 
  • Students are responsible for purchasing training textbook & name tag.

Dress Code: 

  • Students may wear casual/comfortable clothes to class. 
  • Instructors will inform students when uniforms will be required.  (Uniforms will consist of  red tops & red bottoms, white lab coat, & white shoes with non-slip soles)
